No need to be sorry. We may not agree which historical parallel is closest or on the list of allowable comparisons, but it’s a pretty interesting discussion nonetheless.

Taken exactly for what it’s worth.
The comparisons, regardless to which monster of yore one prefers, are rather irrelevant at this point.
We have to defeat the current existing threat that imperils us all… even people of privilege.
