1,000ish pop songs with some repeats & covers, searchable by performer & title

One of the many amazing songs on this soundtrack - also a great one to have in the car with kids if they’ve seen the movie because it’s super funky!

That song make me cringe…

I love it. It so captures that moment in time in the 70s to me.

Oh that it does. Just still an awful song in a lot of ways for me.
anyway… more really old school pop…
Everything is awesome with Fats.

It’s basically impossible to avoid repeats when you can’t search for track names. Anyway, time for more ear-worms from my youth -

Repeats are okay.

Though I don’t recall seeing the Bosstones last time I scrolled through . . . .

The original, spookier, version of Southern Nights by the late, great New Orleans great Allen Toussaint. RIP.

It’s fun to hear some of these maybe partly forgotten songs that surprise you with teleportation to alternate space/time coordinates.

That song is awesome and hilarious.

I have to admit to having listened to a Duran Duran internet stream all weekend. They were playing all these early 80’s earworms that I loved so much when I was a wee thing. I spent much time being mentally transported back to the arcade in Arlington, TX where I heard so many of those songs. As an adult, Dallas/Ft. Worth strikes me as the oddest place in the universe to find a great New Wave radio station, but it was a respite from Country and/or Western. A niche just itching to be filled. And it was welcome. Because how many times can a kid hear this song without wanting to run into traffic?
