Teal is coming back strong atm, much to the dismay of those like me who thought it was done with.

I have the same feeling about the 60s lasting until about 73. It is dismaying to watch the years you cherish the most, your formative years trounced and debased by later generations, but it is inevitable. Every time some youngster uses the word “hippy” to describe a dirty homeless person part of me dies. “Hippy” was a noble calling back in the day and much of what they worried about and protested has come to pass. Yet the mainstream still pushes the idea that the 60s were a time of selfishness and wanton drug use. Step back and watch the media do its work. Sad and frustrating.
