This took me a while to parse. So Conger, who appears to be white, seems to be accusing Symone D. Sanders of quietism? Even when all Sanders was doing was to call out Führer Trump for his instigation of violence against the American people, and to call people to vote him out, but not suggesting in any way that voting should be the only reaction to this?

You summed it up perfectly. The only possible explanation is Conger didn’t know who Sanders is when she tweeted, and assumed she was white, and thought she made a witty and poignant tweet. Backfired spectacularly.

I would add that besides the fact Symone Sanders is not white, it is also kind of her job to get people to vote for the candidate whose campaign she’s working for…
