I haven’t seen Joker and I think I’m not interested. I have seen Adams and I’m very sure I’m not interested.
I haven’t seen it either. Based on reviews I’ve read, I wouldn’t be able to summarize the plot without running afoul of community guidelines on speculating about the mental state of its protagonist as an excuse for his actions, though, so I’m also not exactly champing at the bit to do so.
At this point if she’s still “struggling” she may as well set aside this charade of herself as a so-called moderate and just go all in as being the same as everyone else in the party. (Her and Collins both.) Given her past history we all know where this will lead.
Save your righteous words and staunch condemnation if you’re not going to back it up with some fucking action. As token as these things were, Amash left the party, and Romney voted to impeach. What are you doing other than acting disgruntled?
Small win last night in Seattle. After several days of enforced curfew. The latest alert sent out said the curfew was being lifted. I don’t have any additional info about the decision.
Good to know.
If only the Greens had anything resembling an ability to influence policy.
Y’all Qaeda trying to be tough acting
Also, Nazis
This happened in March:
The videos show the suspect yelling “I can’t breathe.” An officer can also be heard saying, “You’re fine. You can breathe. You’re still talking.”
The department said the method used by officers is called “prone cuffing.” SPD said this is where officers apply pressure to a subject with their knee or shin to the back, shoulder and neck area; and is a commonly used and approved tactic.
Copsplaining a person’s ability to sufficiently draw oxygen to the person they’re choking out while dispassionately describing the tactic as “commonly used and approved” to the press is just next-level.
Oh, and of course it goes without saying, but the suspect was a black man.
As for the other bricks:
The article goes through and debunks each one of the “brick” videos.
TLDR: they’re just construction sites. Builders having pallets of bricks delivered is not a rare event.
JFC, read the note under the graph. F**k humanity.
Many doctors agree that authoritarianism and Trump’s stupidity when it comes to the public health issues is a bigger health threat than the normal transmission of Covid 19
I love how this is written to imply that it’s a bad thing.
But it’s good for the people and it goes to show what I’ve been saying;
There are no total absolutes, not every single cop and soldier will fall in line lock step and start goose-stepping. (Yes there are probably many others who will, but that’s beside my fucking point.)
Good for every LEO that has quit their jobs behind this madness.
