May I contest that and claim that they just use longer sentences and more elaborate reasoning nowadays? The tone is increasingly even more bileful then BILD’s. Some of the opinion pieces by staff of Die Welt are close to AfD rhetorics.
Springer is a campaign machine, not a publisher. And they apparently haven’t made up their mind entirely on Russia, but anything which damages the “left” two thirds of the current government is game for them. Even if it plays in Russia’s interests.
