… of course “security” and “interests” are both propaganda terms that could mean anything

So now, after almost 2 years, diamonds are being sanctioned? Given they’re a significant revenue stream, shouldn’t they have been on the first rounds of sanctions. Not like it’s stopping babby formula.

Does anyone have a sense of how the “Sanctions” lever(s) are set, scale 0=no-sanctions to 10=nothing-in-or-out.

Seems to me other than humanitarian aid when Russia collapses, no one should be dealing with Russia. Set the levers to 10 and wait a bit?
