3D hentai camgirl is a rising star on Chaturbate and real models on the platform are concerned

Hey, i’m kinda familiar with DigitrevX and his non-dirty work. I think he made quite a few models for vocaloid concerts in the past too.

I’m not shocked to hear that vtuber software is being used for stuff like this. As that scene got bigger, various vtubers on both sides of the pacific are trying harder to find a niche. The only other time I really heard a vtuber going in this direction was DeepWebUnderground. When DWU wasn’t talking about illicit drugs and interviewing japanese members of ISIS, she overdubbed a porn parody which involved a pornstar cosplaying as her.

Yes, however did a cartoonish performer who’ll do anything for the geeky viewers and who makes zero workplace demands of the platform get so popular on a porn site? (pornographers famous for being fair to their human female employees).

“Rez has claimed to want to marry a synthetic personality named Rei Toei, the Idoru of the title, which is apparently impossible and therefore questioned by his loyal staff, particularly by his head of security, Keith Blackwell. Blackwell believes that someone is manipulating Rez, and wants Laney to find out who. Simultaneously, the Seattle chapter of the Lo/Rez fan club is discussing exactly the same topic of the unbelievable marriage of human and AI construct.”

Lmao like agencies who represent vtubers are that much better

Even in the world of the mainstream vtubers like Kizuna Ai and the such, talent agencies have been know to screw the performers behind the avatars. The vast majority of vtubers are not allowed to disclose their real identities (they say it’s to keep the air of mystery behind the avatars) so when they get canned, alot of the time the performers are not allowed to bring along the avatars they used along with them.

I don’t want to spend all day talking about this so here’s a great little mini-doc that quickly outlines a few things about vtubers (click CC for captions)

Oh, I agree. I’m just pointing out the human performer’s puzzlement about Chaturbate favouring a virtual camgirl over the human ones is a bit naive.

I saw this article yesterday and curious so I went over the CB to check it out. I really don’t see the attraction of a crudely rendered female avatar awkwardly moving about. Also It looked like collision detection was turned off causing it’s hands to intersect with legs and arms quickly destroying any such sexy-time illusion. A really odd experiment and I don’t think that flesh and blood cam models have much to worry about.

Eta The original iGirl app was more interesting.

There’s still a person(s) who has to operate her in real time. They’re probably being exploited more by ProjektMelody than Chaturbate.

So this 3D hentai camgirl is cutting down on their (ahem) ‘revenue stream’?

Wait until these Chaturbate models find out how many men are ‘shining the purple helmet’ to fantasies of women who don’t even exist as CGI bots.

Not familiar, but the computer created pop stars have not replaced real ones. Hentai hasn’t replaced real people porn.

It’s just another genre. It is probably partly popular due to the novelty, as our sexuality is always striving for new or different.

Even when we get sex robots, we won’t be putting real people out of work.

It should not be a surprise at models and actors are perfect for replacement by generated avatars

Really?
I was expecting something more novel than just someone playing a role.
The article make is sound it is much more automated and human-independent, and even does some bizarre (uncritical) reifying of the character.

Even if there are still a lot of jobs in the sex industry there will still be a lot of displacement and elimination of old jobs and the rise of new ones (who would guess that sex dubber could be a career?), and looking at the trends in other sector’s automation it seems that the requirements for the job will rise while the benefits fall.

I’m also not sure if it is just another genre, and it seems that those sex products are not really about sex and the current things we have are just the best approximations we can get for the real demand/desires.
Specifically for cams, what drives the demand is not sex itself, one can easily find similar free content elsewhere, but the idea of having power over someone and/or the relationship derived from it, it is much more an emotional job than a physical one.
And, an automated and commoditized virtual cammer can provide a much “better” and customized experience which would replace the real ones that have to appeal to bigger crowds to remain profitable.
