$90 million yacht rams dock

Bet that gouge in the side costs more to fix then the docks that got rammed.

Why would you put a swimming pool in a yacht? Does it also come with a more normal sized yacht to go in the swimming pool?

Yeah, having to color-match that lovely paint hue…

It’ll be so noticeable when the presale inspection comes along for the next grossly overwealthy fool who looks to buy it. He’s gonna have to knock a few bucks off the sale price for sure

Yes, and that normal sized yacht has a jacuzzi.

A technical malfunction is a fairly decent excuse for crashing against something but these guys managed to crash the same pier twice.

This is very much on the captain, who has responsibility over anything the nav computer might be acting on. And coming into the dock/leaving the dock are never done on any kind of autopilot. Shenanigans!

Also, this is how they do such things in style:
Sumurun vs Amorita, 2007

That’s Sumurum vs Amorita in '07. Amorita sank, everyone rescued and safe, eventually restored and sailing

This is what happens when you don’t have respect for your piers.

That was anticlimactic.

Owner: “I want to steer.”
Captain: “But sir, I really think you should leave that to the professionals…”
Owner: “It’s my boat. I bought it. I want to steer!”
Captain: “But sir…”

Crunching noise.

Owner: “You’re fired!”

…with a toy boat in it.

That boat had a vendetta.

The biggest of the nested yachts would have to be named the Manitoulin.
