In Newport Pagnell, UK, there is the “Knitting Nan”.
She leaves little knitted curios around the local park for people to find (aimed at kids, mostly) - little knitted penguins or sheep or ducks and suchlike, all with a little note “with love from knitting nana”.
I suspect only her family knows her true identity, like Banksy, or maybe BatNan!
