Not a co-incidence that these videos are particularly satisfying and comforting at the moment. It’s nice to see the scum and filth cleaned away without the underlying structure incurring significant damage.

I worked for a company that did post-fire cleanup and restoration for houses and businesses, and for part of that I was trained on how to use the power washer.
Part of that training involved using the power washer to carve our initials through a block of concrete - it took roughly four seconds per letter, at a distance of six feet. Really drives home the whole “don’t point it at anyone, never stop moving, and for god’s sake, if you think you’re going to sneeze, turn it off first!”

My kitten likes the powerwashing vids. 11/10 would watch again and bat at the screen.
