Am I wrong in thinking that a french kiss isn’t intended to be purely romantic but instead more of a passion/eroticism thing?

and here i was nearly certain that from a pathogen’s point of view a french kiss was a means to experience/populate the broader world (“Welp that’s my bus! Tootles you home bodies”)
