A racist cop bullies two black men for "acting suspicious," and he actually gets fired

It’s a safety thing. The idea is that if you’re going to have 1500 people at an event, they don’t want the organizers to hire one security guard and call it good. Once you hit a certain size, the city wants actual police on scene in case anything goes down that’s beyond a security guard’s scope and training.

Typically you get a mix of security and police. Security takes care of the typical small stuff, and the police are there to deal with assault, theft, vandalism, etc. - basically the stuff security would usually need to call the cops for, anyway.

Nope, story points out he’s no longer a cop - the police chief saw this video and the guy was fired within two hours. It also says he’s no longer working security for the store, but it doesn’t clarify if he was fired or if it was a security company who just moved him elsewhere.

I presume that because of this, he’ll never be employed as a cop in any other jurisdiction? (JK; for him, this isn’t a punishment but a minor inconvenience.)
