Two of them even made the point of saying âI have two of my ownâ.
Because they know that adoption isnât equal. (Should be, but isnât.)
They never seem to.

That headline really makes me angry for two reasons. First, the backlash has been going on since the minute the #MeToo movement started. Second, describing the most recent sensational celeb news as some kind of turning point ignores the worse behavior of people who pushed to excuse and re-hire just about every man accused, including the usual avalanche of victim-blaming.
Just goes to show how short attention spans really are, or how bad framing in the media has become. Linking it to Roe v. Wade, which has roots in religious and political movements that predated #MeToo just seems like they were casting about for another example of backlash and hand-waving the 50 years in between.
I really like the Rembrandt analogy:
âBut these laws take a hypotheticalâa baby that might exist, might come to term without miscarriage, might survive birthâand give that possibility more importance than the safety, health, and happiness of people who are real. Thatâs like painting over a Rembrandt because the next random person who comes along might pick up the brush and create a better masterpiece.â
Turning Point USA conference for young women leaders suggests their role is to get married and have babies
The âYoung Womenâs Leadership Summitâ included dating advice from Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens
Then what the fuck are you doing there, Candy?
Grifting
If you can be swayed on basic issues of morality because you disagree with some tactics, then maybe you donât give a shit about that issue, but are merely virtue signaling.
Isnât that funny: extremist violence toward the other side doesnât turn those people against the cause. Wonder why they think itâs an important consideration here.
This might be triggering, as it includes violence against women⌠it includes a video:
This is disgusting but not unsurprising given the Chinese governmentâs recent push to promote âmanlyâ men.
Yeah, thatâs what you get when you push these kinds of narrativesâŚ
It certainly seems to be the authoritarian playbook, just look at Russian society or the fascists here in the US.
True. Toxic masculinity is a core part of the ideology, as well as a ridiculous view of femininity that centers on ânurturingâ and childrearing. Few things threaten authoritarians than people not conforming to those very strict, confining gender roles.
Houston police searching for man who they say âexecutedâ 9-year-old girl
Man was out on bond, was reported to police by ex-girlfriend
Police told KPRC, KSATâs sister station in Houston, that Jeremiah Jones, 22, went to a home in the Heights area, where his ex-girlfriend and three of her children, ages 1, 3 and 9 were staying.
The suspect went into a room and âexecutedâ the 9-year-old girl by shooting her in the head, police said. The man and woman then fought, and he shot her in the shoulder, police said.
KPRC reported that the suspect was out on bond for a violation of a protective order. The woman reported the man to law enforcement in the past.
Red flag laws will not work as long as law enforcement doesnât treat domestic violence seriously.
Bastards. Complete Bastards to a man.
