Dwarf Fortress taught me that the beach is a terrible place for your subterranean constructions.

Beach huts are a long tradition, and can it can be very expensive to acquire the lease if they are in a popular area. I’m pretty sure extending downwards (or upwards) isn’t allowed.

At first I thought this was some sort of UK equivalent to Jackass, but the guy is actually a bona-fide holder of 3 Guinness records and some of his stuff requires a good degree of real engineering (like the hoverbike). All his projects are pretty unsafe though, including this hut.

I go to the beach to swim, and I’m like the only weirdo out there actually in the water.

It’s somehow no less weird than when I used to swim in lakes and rivers.
