Unless I’m mistaken, I see there was never a game that has lockpicking with skill trees within the discipline.

I’m probably misunderstanding you, but Skyrim (where I’ve spent a depressing amount of my time picking locks) definitely has its own specific lockpicking skill tree.

I believe they mean subgenres within the tree, like Lockpicking - Single Tumbler, Lockpicking - Double Tumbler, Lockpicking - Multi-phase mystical aperture and so on to cover all the different types.

That would be good. Then you could have the master level be, say, a LockPicking Leader and then get your own video channel where you could show others your skill.
