That was surprisingly great.
Farley was a comedic genius.
Farley was gone way too soon.
Farley and Sandler always worked well together. One of my favourite sketches of theirs was “The Herlihy Boy” [sorry for the video quality]:
The SNL talent that died young will be missed. Farley, Belushi & Hartman for me
Sandler’s new Netflix special is his best stuff in YEARS. Though I get the feeling the cherry picked the best stuff, as it seems recorded over a half a dozen sets.
But OMG, you can’t have grown up in the 90s watching SNL and not get it in the feels at the end of that show with that song. Mother fucker, this isn’t what I signed up for. I’m not crying, you’re crying.
Onions. Need to stop chopping onions.
I’ve never cared for his movies, but for some reason I always love an original Adam Sandler song.
Looked up to Belushi as a personal hero. Tragically followed in his footsteps all too faithfully.
yeah, i never cared for his movies either, but damn he was comedy genius on SNL. like his heroes, gone waaaaay too soon.
Not even a fan of Sandler, but that was really great and sweet.
This guy is hilarious. A Gibson strap with a Fender guitar.
Sandler’s comedy always translates well to 5 minutes. Short enough for him to surprise you, then get off screen. With a film, you’re stuck on that Sandler ride for hours.
I watched “100% Fresh” on Netflix; I’m not the biggest Sandler fan, but I was shocked at just how funny and creative the whole thing was. I’m stunned that I must heartily recommend it as something to watch.
I’m just gonna blatantly and shamelessly copy you:
Farley was a comedic genius.
Same here… yet “Punch Drunk Love” is super excellent!!!
… which very much describes Sandler in “Punch Drunk Love”
