Plus multiple changes of clothes (diapers are not necessarily sufficient to contain their load) plus medical kit (learned that from an on board fever) plus something for you to read while baby is asleep, plus a half-dozen plastic containers (or more) of baby finger food for those babies over six months old, plus burp cloths, plus change of top for yourself in case the baby pukes on it.
Sure you can try going with less, but don’t expect it to be a happy flight when something goes wrong.
