i always thought that was just a rumor. i mean, i watched the O2 concert from 15 years ago and he was surprisingly able to hit a lot of his old notes. i mean, he didn’t have his old power, but how could he – he was in his 20s when he was like that. but he sounded great.

Hmmm…extremely widely spread rumor then. But yeah, I Can’t find a confirmation from Plant himself, although I do find acknowledgement from him that he badly damaged his cords back in the day.

I’m no expert on the guy, but from what I’ve heard, yeah, the damage has healed. It may be an older singer‘s voice now, but it’s apparently a healthy one.

If someone who had never heard Beethoven understood it was more Classical than Baroque I would be amazed at their immediate intuition for those types of music.
