yeah, though it does sting like hell so getting the right percentage in the solution is pretty important. might not be able to control that well with the bulk quanitities

Occasionally the face mites will ally with the eyelash mites to attack the eyebrow mites. There’s all these tribes/species, you see.

that was my first reaction also. i think the student pronounced it “blooferitus” which made it seem even more ridiculous

I for black tea, at least, I consider it unlikely. I think the fermentation and subsequent drying would be difficult to survive for most mites.
Also: I use boiling water, and a dewar-like tea glass…
