… and you thought the current Thinkpad ‘chicklet’ keyboards were bad… That keyboard is is the origin of that moniker. (I had the US version that TI marketed over here; it was pretty bad. )
As I’ve said before, I/O devices seems to be the division that Apple dumps the engineers and designers that they can’t get rid of despite their incompetence.

Projection keyboards are a tech demo product, they look great as a demo, but suck in the real world. They have gotten better over the last decade but going from “Non functional useless trash” to “Utterly frustrating that they sometimes seem to work” is not really getting to where I would like to use one frequently.
Gradually getting thinner and more pretentious until they vanish entirely?
