Sorry for your loss. Glad you’re feeling a bit better though.
Oh boy do I feel this one. I lost my mom a few years before I came out and the fact she never got to know the real me is one of my biggest regrets. Hugs offered.

Well then, she knew – and knows – the real you already.
Hugs accepted. Thank you.
I am not okay today. I’ve started a GoFundMe, and you can see the link in my personal thread, Knoxblox’s Re-Animated Blank Canvas. If anyone could share the GFM link through social media, it would be a great help.
So, I had not seen my downstairs neighbor and his wife (they are from Guatemala) for a couple of days, and it turns out they snagged an opportunity to go and try to claim political asylum in the USA. We’re communicating via WhatsApp, and I warned them about the political shenanigans going on there, and to be careful in accepting offers of help.
I wish them luck, but I am also worried for them.
I hope they’re doing okay! Good luck to them!
She sounds like the kind of person everyone should have in their lives. I’m sorry for your loss.
Thanks.
My friends are now in Colorado and doing fine, in a temporary residence (?) for a while. They’re gonna be okay.
Thinking about @FloridaManJefe (in the Keys) today and hoping things turn out ok for everyone having to deal with Ian.
i thank you and everyone for your concern. we are still having tropical storm conditions, winds sustained at 40mph gusting to 55. rain has diminished, but thunderstorms passing through. Key West got the worst of it yesterday, winds up to 70mph and wicked storm surge. we’re almost out of it down here.
i would ask that everyone direct your positive thoughts, prayers (if you do that) and concern to the folks on the gulf coast mainland. they are about to get clobbered, bad. right now, i gotta go get tree branches out of the drive and check on neighbors to see if anyone needs help clearing debris.
Glad you guys made it through okay. Thinking good thoughts to the folks in Ian’s path now…
I know you are tough down there and have lots of practice riding out storms, but it’s still good to hear you’re OK.
I am between a rock and a hard place, and could use some work. Update at my thread, Knoxblox’s Re-Animated Blank Canvas.
ETA: No joke, this is my last gasp.
My biggest issue is almost completely taken care of, but I still need some business so I can feed myself and the cats.
