Those are so amazing!


I love these, the idea and the execution. The multi-layered scenes are at once beautiful, nostalgic, and a cool feat of craftsmanship to admire. It also cool how the edges of the plates form their own picture frame and matting.

My favorite one comes from the more subtle collection though:


They had some of these at a local art museum a while back. I adore them.


Sort of like M. C. Escher’s scratch-drawing technique.
