Astounding close-up image of Jupiter's Giant Red Spot

The spot has cycles as far as i recall. There will be a point in time where it will either disappear or be quite small, and then grow in size after that. The cycle lasts centuries i think.

Maybe the eye is just narrowing, giving a squinty look at Earth.

We need a closer image; we still can’t see the billions of monoliths that form its core.
