These are quite nice, but it’s unfortunate how over-familiarity with 'shopped images kinda keeps me from being able to be as smitten with these as I’d have been 15 year ago. Like the way that oak decal paneling now makes actual oak things seem a bit cheap sometimes.
The real artistic value is in the artist’s mind’s eye to conceive it before the first frame is exposed.

Three weeks ago I climbed that arch in Lisbon stared down at the square, and since I returned I’ve been haunted by images of Lisbon turning up in random places to try to lure me back, maybe forever. Thanks, BB.

That Statue of Liberty shot must have been taken from the Staten Island ferry. I wonder how many trips it took to get it right. I imagine a windy or overcast day would ruin it.
