My grandpap was cutting grass with a walk-behind mower for a dozen customers younger than himself until the age of 79. He kept up his weekly bowling and was dating and visiting with friends and family. Age is just a number and keeping active helps extend life.

I remember growing up with early MTV, watching Jagger strut and preen on the TV screen and thinking how ridiculous it looked. Then I saw the Stones live (1990, Steel Wheels Tour). On TV it looks silly. On a stage, fifty yards away, it ABSOLUTELY WORKS. Thirty five years ago, that was referred to as his “retirement” tour. The man is still in better physical condition than I have ever hoped to be in my life.

That compilation video demonstrates how energetically Jagger moves in one-second bursts. I’d be more impressed with footage of him executing any of those movements for minutes (or even multiple seconds) on end.
(It’s also amusing to imagine him raising his hands above his head to harangue neighbors, or doing his silly strut to chase kids out of his yard.)
