'Atheists, homosexuals and transgender individuals' upset Alabama's chief justice

Nah, people like that are just usually passive aggressive and/or lacking the integrity to say what they actually mean.

Up there with ā€œI will pray for youā€ which is Christianspeak for ā€œI have lost this argument, go fuck yourselfā€.

You guys have a way with colorful phrases. I would blame Australia for Mel Gibson and Russel Crowe but it appears we Americans broke them while in our possession.

Donā€™t worry, we can always blame them for Ken Ham. And the Kiwis for Ray Comfort. Two of the most dishonest people Iā€™ve ever heard speak.

Well, if @semiotix only changes their gender presentation, but not their biological sex, they they could indeed still be homosexual, although I retain my biological sex, but am genderqueer and identify as pansexual, at least in part because I didnā€™t feel ā€˜bisexualā€™ was really accurate for me. All that aside, I seriously doubt that this Roy Moore fool understands nor cares about the subtleties here. Iā€™m sure a Pagan, pansexual, genderqueer person such as myself also upsets him just as much, a fact of which Iā€™m somewhat proud. (Hell, if itā€™ll cause him to blow a gasket and shuffle off this mortal coil that much faster, Iā€™ll throw some more details of my life of which Iā€™m sure heā€™d strongly disapprove.)

Mistakenly. Crowe is a Kiwi, and Gibson was born in New York.

That fuckhead is where he belongs. Thereā€™s no place for him here, which is why heā€™s gone to live with his own kind.

Canā€™t we banish him to the forbidden zone to hang out with Zod or something? Heā€™s wasting a bunch of our tax money in an economically depressed state that takes a lot more aid than what it contributes in GDP.

0:00-0:22ā€¦ people were unreasonably mean to me, and it hurt my feelings. I am good, they are liars.
0:22-on, my legal responsibility luckily aligns with my personal beliefs! I am scared of these abnormals, with absolute faith in psychiatry when it agreed with me (canā€™t trust these new DSMs), and even have can quote one action and a ruling it supposedly violates, without getting into specifics. Come on guys, this is Alabama, you get it, right?

Heā€™s just a symptom of a much deeper malaiseā€¦ Remind me, what proportion of USians donā€™t believe in evolution again?

Surprisingly, 65% of Americans believe humans have evolved over time.

Although Iā€™m pretty sure the proportion of that stat who understand how even just natural selection works is far below 50%.

Thatā€™s generally not how its considered to work though. Assigned male at birth people who like men but who transition to women are considered heterosexual, itā€™s what gender you like vs. what gender you identify as, not the gender everyone else assumes you are before you start transitioning.

I donā€™t want to punish the kind people who donā€™t hate others.

Youā€™re so very helpful!!

Where would we be without such acts of helpfulness.

Like many, youā€™re conflating gender and sex. Additionally, people can identify however they want to identify, regardless of what others may ā€œconsiderā€ them. But hey, feel free to explain this to me a bit more, just as if I was someone who hasnā€™t been openly queer for the past 25 years.

Sex does not equal equality, and ā€œbiological sexā€ is just as much a social construct as gender,

OK, when I asked you to explain it to me like I havenā€™t lived through this stuff? Yeah, thatā€™s what we call a ā€œjoke.ā€
