I don’t get it. That’s how Coach O always sounds. Geaux Tigers!

all the audio is pitch-shifted down 100%

I cannot for the life of me figure out what that’s supposed to mean.

Is this one of those things like “50% warmer than yesterday” that doesn’t immediately present as nonsense-math yet makes not a lick of sense?

You are forgetting the usual suspect: THE DEVIL!
The Devil ENCODES audio streams in mysteryous ways!!!

it’s most likely from a frame rate that didn’t convert properly.

I could maybe interpret “pitch-shifted up 100%” to mean “frequency doubled” or “one octave higher,” but 100% lower doesn’t make a lick of sense.

100% lower pitch is nothing — no audio signal at all.

Shifting down 100 1200 cents would be one octave…

Edit: Nevermind. 100 cents only gets you to a semitone. Hard to imagine they went from “1200 cents” to “100 percent”.

It means A440 is now A220

So, maybe he just needs to turn his speakers on?

Wouldn’t that be 50% lower?

I suspect it means the plugin or app they used to detune the audio had a slider control that varied from -100 to 100. They then set the slider to -100 and claimed it was an encoding error. I curious at the resultant percentage of increased clicks.

I expected to hear the audio equivalent of zero degrees Kelvin.

If 100% slower made you angry.

Runs away…

Shouldn’t that be really fast, but backwards?

Eh, been done before.

I halfway expected it to just be his regular voice with some joke about the cookie monster.
