Graffiti artists and anarchists are doing more to save our civilization than the so-called proponents of Law and Order.

Seems to me that whoever he, she or they are, they’re overflowing with both heart and genius.

We repeat, #LouiseMichel is unable to safely move and nobody is coming to our aid. The people rescued have experienced extreme trauma, it’s time for them to be brought to a #PlaceOfSafety. We need immediate assistance.

They did foresee it. This is how the ‘game’ works. Right now, from the EU authorities’ point of view, the migrants are safe and not in need of rescue - so they don’t have to do anything. Now everyone waits until the situation on the Louise Michel gets just as dire as it was on the boats they started out on. At which point they need rescue.

Which makes this all seem like a pointless exercise, but it’s now harder for the authorities to argue that the vessel belongs in Libya.

Nobody knows his name, but he’s from Bristol, England, and is associated with graffiti and hip hop collectives and bands including Massive Attack.
A quick search using the search engine of your choice will tell you this and more…

Art therapy, more arts

If this is how a contemporary artist fights a revolution, sign me up.

I don’t know much about the art world, but every now and then I become aware of someone doing radical and vital work. Banksy, who, or whatever Banksy is, or are, blows my mind.

Here is a good example of how graffiti can be functional. Nobody would look at that boat and think it was owned by a state who would capture them.

This fucking year…

It’s been pointed out that the boat has exceeded its capacity somewhat and is in a bit of trouble…

On the Channel 4 News in UK and Ireland just now - Italian Coast Guard has been to assist the boat and taken off all but 49 of the refugees.
