I don’t really understand the significance here. It’s really not unusual to find Streptomyces places, and new strains do not automatically equal new antibiotics. Researchers have even been starting to concentrate on other groups in case these have been mostly used up. That doesn’t mean they are completely so, but the article doesn’t actually mention any new compounds here.
