I don’t think you’ll find many Python programming fans full stop.
Don’t get me wrong. Python is a useful, well-featured and well-documented language. But it’s hardly exciting. It’s more stolid and worthy than anything.

Man, I just love programming in Python, beats most other languages I know. And whenever I hired for a Python team, the people who applied were full of love for the language. I visited several Python in Europe conferences, lots on enthusiasm there, same with the Python user groups I was part of.
