I started out thinking Chuck Tingle was hilarious.
Then I began to realize Tingle is profound and deeply and unfailingly sincere.
Now I’m beginning to think Chuck Tingle may be the Shakespeare of the early 21st Century. 500 years from now, they’ll forget everyone else and be studying him in class.

Parody and comedy in general are more often a better representation of the truth of things. Chuck Tingle despite the absurdity of their books have always struck me as someone that was having a great time being weirdly sincere and strange. Watching the animated short seals the deal for me that is truly the case.
