There is a spot near the northern Wisconsin/Michigan border with leucistic deer. Very magical. Commonly called “Ghost Deer”. https://www.google.com/search?q=ghost+deer+wisconsin My mother and step father lives near there, and we went on a trip to try and spot one. An hour long trip, we see tons of normal deer, but no ghost deer. On our way back home, 1/2 a mile from home, we spot one. Bounded away before we could get a good picture.
As any long-time Denverite knows from our late resident Bill, the white (not albino) giraffe.
So if an animal has an all white birthmark is that a form of leucistic-ism?
