It sounds as if Max is stating that’s what the regulars call themselves, like Boingers or whatnot.
Here’s the actual story on the dossier’s history:
/pol/ is general political craziness.
No, /pol/ is a hotbed of people not allowed anywhere else talking about how the good old days of being even more racist before the “liberal mods” started cleaning up the worst of it. The popular subjects include why white people need to breed to prevent various “degenerate” cultures and races from “overthrowing” them, how Christianity is the only religion that isn’t ruining the world, how Jews are literally controlling everything (ranging from anime to elections), etc. It is the primary reason normal people cannot visit 4chan because it has enough traffic and rabid enough posters that they will destroy other boards if they receive even the slightest perceived slight. The traffic goes porn > pol > media boards > hobby boards, and the owner would rather mess with any other board besides /pol/ because /pol/ is reactionary and the closest thing to violent that you can be online.
I have not been to 8chan’s /pol/, and I doubt I will ever go, but it is where 4chan’s /pol/ claims they go to talk about stuff banned on 4chan.
A /pol/ack is a frequent poster there.
No, they are not just a poster. They are a poster who agrees with the content, and/or contributes to the cause. They identify with /pol/ and not the other boards.
I am not taking responsibility for any part of 4chan.
That whole 4chan element is pretty interesting, to be fair to the misguided Trump supporter.
Who hacked your account and outright forced you to link to those scum?
How is it “interesting”? There’s no linkage, they’re just claiming credit and laughing at the rubes giving them attention.
It’s 4chan’s shtick. If you can’t hoax, hoax about a hoax.
I did not expect it to be much more controversial than the subject already was. I will avoid doing so in the future.
Not unlike Democrats trusting and believing the CIA now. Reminds me of Tolomei of the Lombards warning his nephew Guccio in Druon’s ‘Accursed Kings’, “Look out for flattery, it is the most dangerous of all”. Strange times.
Edit: Wait, just processed that. Are you saying he’s pro-GOP because of the dearth of publishing leaks harmful to the right? Or is he claiming to support the GOP? He is on the record only as being pro-transparency to inhibit corruption. Although I certainly don’t care for how much he has injected himself into Wikileaks. Anymore I avoid any of the Wikileaks ‘news’, the presence of all the newly politically ‘conscious’ Trump supporters is nauseating.
When your source of record is a bunch of proud, racist shitbags, yes.
One can consider that “controversial”.
In what regard?
I’m sure you also caught the sweetheart deal where Page/trump/ASSociates were offered a 19% stake in Rosneft as further enticement.
Based on the famous quote attributed to Einstein, Max’s making the same kind of “mistake” over and over again and expecting different results now has me worried for his sanity.
What does that mean?
Well, I’m sure HRC’s email server is far more important than stuff like this. I think we need Chaffetz to run another investigation of that server, and maybe Huma Abedin too, before we let this drop.

FTFY
In the sense that people choose to believe things when those things support what they want to believe. When the intelligence community is supporting your team, all past instances of unpleasantness are forgotten.
Modern democrat’s trust in the structures and institutions is what I was lamenting.
Edit: What has Chomsky’s impeccable critiques over the last few decades revealed about intelligence and the American deep state?
It’s more accurate to say that Assange is anti-Clinton (and by extension the DNC establishment) thanks to a personal vendetta. Since he has tunnel vision in this regard, he misses the fact that it effectively makes him pro-GOP.
Unfortunately it compromises the whole project. He has appeared lately, much to my chagrin, to be acting in a way that appears to feed into Trump’s bullshit. Can’t tell if it’s intentional or not.
It is a gif of an eye roll indicating my reaction to your statement.
“Tell that to a circus, it desperately needs an opening act!” I’m a huge SNL and Martin Short fan, and I’ll be damned I never caught this greatness. Any chance KellyAnne Conway has channeled Mr. Thurm?
Very important question:
Did you say gif with a hard or soft g?
