There’s a number of intellects alive today that make me feel truly lucky to share the planet with, and Eno is one of them. He could have stopped at “Another Green World” and “Music For Airports” and blown my little mind forever, but NO, damned mister guy keeps blossoming into the Leonardo and/or Monet of sound.
If music over time has a tendency towards logical progression or evolution in some avenues, inevitable conclusions, Eno has several times been the very definition of an unforeseeable event. Happy Mutant indeed. And I love to think he’s been here on Boing Boing, from time to time.
