Britons unbowed by terrorists—or by the hysterical Islamophobes demanding they panic

I guess you could start with HRC:

“This man was a terrorist, not a Muslim”- Andy Burham, Mayor of Manchester, 5/24/2017

Here is the DOD report of the Fort Hood shooting- https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=0ahUKEwisofOorpPUAhWH0YMKHbYUAVkQFggoMAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.defense.gov%2FPortals%2F1%2FDocuments%2Fpubs%2FDOD-ProtectingTheForce-Web_Security_HR_13Jan10.pdf&usg=AFQjCNGMuZ99zts0fmqFgbGqRk7rONX-Vg&sig2=LjyYOccI4j_PRuv3O3UpgA&cad=rja
The word “Islam” appears once, in the footnotes.

It is very hard to describe the motivations of the the attackers at Manchester, Berlin, Nice, Paris, and all the other places without some discussion of Islam. But people seem to want to try. That is the sort of thinking that leads the Aftonbladet to publish a statement that the solution to the Stockholm truck attack is to ban cars in the city center. The disaster in Rotherham went on for years, despite numerous complaints and reports, because of fear of “Islamophobia” accusations.

And it has to be possible to discuss terrorist motivations and ideology without spreading blame on populations of largely innocent people. We seem to have no problems calling out the Christian Fundamentalist crazies without implicating the Methodists or Episcopalians.

Number of muslims in the world in 2009: 1,570,000,000
Number of salafi in the world: 50,000,000
I don’t know how many salafi are jihadists, but the Economist says that it is a small minority.

I think that calling bullshit on the claim that a small minority of a small minority represents the whole of Islam is worthwhile.

Alternatively you can carry on blaming people like sufi and ahmadiyya muslims for terrorists acts. The real terrorists will be more than happy for you to do their work for them.

Hysterical Islamophobes don’t just happen. There’s actually quite a tight little network with money behind all those jihad-watch type sites.

(And I’m not only trusting the Council on American-Islamic Relations on this. I’ve dug into the tax records myself.)
