Bros go to LA city council to speak for house parties

That was truly the best thing I will have seen all day. I really love LA.

Yes, I get that, I’m in New England. But like @ethicalcannibal indicated, the actual mechanics of such a ban would seem to be quite problematic to tune.

You don’t think the legislation includes some kind of definition?

You’ve got the idea! It’s like my friends and I don’t have a “compound”, we have a “property owner’s association”. We aren’t in a “cult”, we’re in an “intentional religious community”, and we don’t have “guns”, we have “lawyers”. This shows that when you control the nomenclature, you control the debate, which means you get to define the victory conditions.

Does anyone have a good primer on the actual proposed law? A quick search turns up this video repeatedly.

Local government fine-tuning it’s laws. That’s so cute! I’m sure enforcement will be fair and even-handed as well. *snrk!*

Part of their new Morale Suppression Initiative.

Many places of employment seem have these enacted as well.

Like most City Councils, full of Omnipotent Moral Busybodies.

Chad and JT were invited back to finish their speeches.
