I honestly can’t believe that reindeer didn’t fall off. My parents have the same one and it seems like it’s constantly toppled to one side without any drifting (except from the snow which they don’t really get as much of as the year go by). Maybe it’s doing donuts at night when we aren’t watching.

Good to know it is possible to drift in a semi controlled way, without completely burning through a set of tires.
