Reigniting this thread to share a very pretty fish. I fished one of the few lakes in the area with non-native brown trout and it was a stellar day. This tank was my biggest fish of the day:
All on flies and mostly on the surface!

i would like to introduce y’all to my local friend, Heiko, and his keys fishing channel:
he’s young and, well, “dudebro”, but genuinely a nice guy. i like that he is candid about his goofiness and that he always shares his mistakes as well as his successes.

They’re such beautiful fish. I caught my first brown trout ever down in Montana a month or so back.
