I bought Dust Covers when it came out. All in all, a beautiful book. I just wish McKean hadn’t decided to “improve” some of the covers with the photoshop liquify tool. Also, some of the commentary seems somewhat misplaced.

I loved McKean’s covers so much. I always wished the artwork inside the Sandman comics was more like McKean’s work. After seeing what was possible with MirrorMask, I’d been hoping the live action Sandman was going use that style of art.
