FWIW, Vigano is one of Francis right wing critics prior to this:
And it seems like he blames homosexuality for the abuse, not sexual predators. There also seems to be some inconsistencies - Benedict banning him from celebrating mass, but he was doing so after he was supposedly banned from doing so (under Benedict).
The point Peter Isley makes at the end, though is spot on…
