Because the company making this doesn’t own that trademark. They own a trademark to use the name “DeLorean” for a car, but that’s the only link they have to the original.

Yah, I guess we were due for another vapourware electric car render.
Building cars is hard. So much incredibly harder than people think. There are thousands of pages of regulations on headlights alone. Don’t forget to test it in the arctic for six months, because that’s required too.
