It’s funny that the author of the video used “Riders on the Storm” as an example of the effect, as that recording was done through the “Studio One” chamber at Sunset, and is not a plate at all.

And The Boxer, which was an elevator shaft.

Still very cool.

I do find it interesting seeing a video of Capitol Studios that they still use their echo chambers all the time even with all the other modern options. I’d love to hear a side by side comparison of plate-vs-echo chamber.
