Fair enough - but let me ask you: Where did the traditional Icelandic style come from?

Could it be, “Hurry up and get the easy part done, and we will leave the last hard part for someone else. When they complain remind them we did 2/3rds already.” :wink:

Color yolk work is a regular feature of all traditional Nordic knitting.

Forgive me, what is “color yolk”?

Yolk is the area around the neck, and the work is in multiple colors.
