The concentrations and types of various contaminants are probably closer to what you find in a family bathroom at home. They don’t have a constant stream of different chimps playing in the ball pit, just the ones who live in that enclosure.
Eno was involved, but more of a Gavin Bryars project, actually.

It would be cool to see them in a full room-sized ballpit where they could properly swim.

I would not want to be the person responsible for extracting an uncooperative chimp from said ballpit afterwards.
They did several albums. The only problem was that they learned to play the instruments competently after a few years.
