Oh sure. But can a chimpanzee leave a pack of chewing gum in a jeans pocket and then run the jeans through the washer and dryer, gluing almost-impossible-to-remove chewing gum to the inside of the dryer drum? For example.

I pointed out to the kids on the last zoo visit that, before they came along, I could not possibly have done a word for word translation of the spat we’d just seen in baboon enclosure.
