The Theranos story is one in which Rupert Murdoch - of all people - emerges with a scintilla of credit.
Murdoch was an early investor in the company (and lost a lot of money - oh dear, what a shame). However, when Holmes got wind that John Carreyrou of the WSJ was digging into the company, she tried to get Murdoch to stop the investigation. He refused and they published.
It’s not much set against the monumental amount of of shittitude he has produced over many decades - but it is a tiny something.
And he lost money - hahahah!

Unfortunately 100m USD is nothing to that family.
I won’t say how I know this, but Amway blows about $200m a year just flying the family around. Money in the hole.
