Clarence Thomas rumored to be considering retirement

This article was recently brought to my attention on another bulletin board.

Europe’s robots to become ‘electronic persons’ under draft plan

If all you want to do is laugh at the EU, from an American perspective, it’s an okay article. If you actually care about what the EU does, or are interested in robotics, it’s a horrible article. It doesn’t offer any information about who proposed it, what parties support it,how to read it, how to participate in the larger debate, or even what’s really in the “plan”.

So a real thing it is!

it’s blue sky thinking by a parliamentary(advisory, with limited veto powers) think tank. I think the bigger issue buried in there is to do with liability from my brief skim.
