Comcast repairman doesn't give a damn that cars are sliding off the road to avoid his truck

…states have streetlight on their major highways?
I was driving across some of NC’s biggest highways in the dark for hours today; what states can afford streetlights on the highways?

To be fair, they did have street lights sometimes, when you were within the city limits of a major city (Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Raleigh, Durham, etc.)

Which is why they’ll cite the company, not the operators. It’s Comcast’s fault that their workers were being unsafe, ultimately.

Curious, why do you assume they don’t have a union? Because Indiana?

I can’t speak for all states and type of work being done, but i work for a gas utility and if one of our operators (or any employee) does anything that endangers the public, or does anything majorly illegal they are personally liable as is the company. But the particular person can get sued and have fines imposed on them.

I’m not sure about liability but that isn’t really the point. The point is what people are likely to do, which is not slow down at the top of an icy hill for fear of getting stuck and/or sliding backwards. Now in the video the truck that slammed into the back of the other vehicle was clearly going too fast.
