Mutant offspring of a Douglas SBD and a Catalina. Can’t see that ever going wrong!
Ekranoplanes are a ground-effect vehicle. The don’t touch the ground, but they don’t quite fly. Something in-between.
They don’t get much press, but I think a small version would be way cool.
